Protect Your Home from the Devil

Satan wants nothing more than to separate us from having a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Satan uses many distractions in our lives to disrupt the peace we develop through knowing that our lives have eternal worth when we are plugged into God’s power.

It’s so refreshing to know that there is meaning to our existence once we let go of the emotional distractions of the world and let God guide us. When we stop lamenting over what could’ve or should’ve happened in our lives and instead look at it through God’s eyes, we immediately find peace.

Instead of hanging our heads in shame or disappointment, we find ourselves hopeful that our pasts were not meant for pain but for purpose. We begin to realize that every single person has experienced disappointment and pain on their paths in their own unique way.

We stop comparing and start caring again. This brings peace.

While Satan likes to use the valleys in our lives to break us down, God uses them as building blocks.

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

Genesis 50:20

When we remember this, we find hope and confidence. We want to share what God has accomplished in our lives through our pain.

Don’t let the enemy take your confidence away. Don’t let him take your story away from others who need to hear about your triumph through Christ.

If you are struggling to find peace in your circumstances, may this prayer give you encouragement. Ask God to protect your life and home from the advances of Satan today. Claim what God intends for your life and live boldly in His name.

If you don’t have a personal relationship with Christ, won’t you pray this prayer today?

Heavenly father, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me for the sins I’ve committed against others, myself, and you, Lord. Through the death and resurrection of your son, Jesus Christ, I know that I can have a new life. Wash me clean of my past and give me a new heart. From this day forward, I am yours. In Jesus’ name, amen.
